Chazz/Irony/Turkey's story was worked on:

Chazz is this pretty big and muscular villain type of guy, though he's really like soft hearted and nice and all. He hates publicity so he basically hides in some hide out majority of the time and has his two "helpers" do things outside. They're basically like his sons/assistants, but either term really works.

Irony was affected by radiation and Chazz took him in and cleaned him up and taught him a lot of moves of his own. Irony eventually ended up becoming obsessed with what fire looked and felt like, and now currently uses it as a weapon, thus explaining the giant bronze hand he has [it shoots fire, clearly]. Turkey was perfectly healthy, but abandoned on the streets as a small child, and again Chazz took him in. He still looks perfectly human, but he covers his face with a gas mask almost 24/7 due to Irony having a third eye, Chazz being super muscular, and him being the average skinny kid, he felt he needed something for himself to be identified and remembered by.

Once they grew up more, Chazz had them go out on missions to either practice the art they fought in or to actually do something that Chazz wasn't comfortable doing due to it being in public. He hates attention and media boasting about everything, so he stays hidden. Irony and Turkey though don't really care much, and keep Chazz unknown.

We did a lot of story working, particularly on one scene. Pictures are there to help you not die from the blocks of text I put in...

The scene involves Chloe and Riley, him inviting her to a party - masquerade to be more specific. To cut out a lot of the text, regular masquerade party stuff goes on until Irony busts in and sets fire to all exists, Turkey following close behind. They make an announcement saying "Everyone can leave except the fox and the mouse. It's alright - they know who they are. Everyone else, follow me this way." Then they let all the other hostages leave through an open exit [they put out the fire for them] leaving the two behind. Turkey and Irony stand by once everyone is gone near the exits that have died down at this point, while Chazz comes in through a balcony.

At this point the two of them are basically like, "Oh shit," because Chazz is a pretty built guy just wearing a tank top and jeans while they're dressed up all nice and proper. They end up fighting in those clothes anyway, as if they have a choice. Chazz questions them why they were looking for nuclear explosives and radioactive plants. Riley, not actually being directly involved, stays quiet while Chloe says she was just in it for the money. Chazz, actually being pretty nice, understands and says, "Ah well that's pretty relate-able  Seems understandable. Sadly though, I still have to kill you both."

Then he goes at them, and any time he hits them he basically apologizes, and anytime they hit him, he praises them. So the entire time, he's being really gentle and soft [compared to his actual strength] to them, and they're trying to wear him down. Chloe uses long distance weaponry, and Riley does a mix of long distance and short distance. After a while they try trapping him after he's slowed down enough, and then Irony and Turkey get involved in the fight. It ends up being 1 vs 1 while Chazz watches them all, and Irony and Turkey switch, so all of them fight someone different until another vs trade off occurs and Turkey accidentally punches Irony in the face.

Riley and Chloe just stand together and watch them bicker by themselves until Chazz gets out of the trap and continues on, and the two go at him again until he's tired out enough and Irony and Turkey are knocked out and Chazz takes them and flees. The other two just stand there and watch them leave until they depart themselves, and realize they make a pretty good team, and some romance crap happens, meanwhile back where Chazz hides out he has Turkey and Irony rest after they mumble some random crap and bicker more [brotherly love, huh].

Some more concept images prior to creating the comic [two posts prior to this]. These were some things we wanted to emphasize was Chloe being pretty seductive and flexible/agile, and Riley being able to lay traps and get out situations easily even under pressure. They're more seen in the comic, where they're in action, but these were two parts that we tried making obvious.

Preliminary/concept pictures for Riley and Chloe's secondary outfits - they'll also get bookmarks, as the readers won't know it's them/they'll have different names.

We split working on this comic into two days as the first meeting of Riley and Chloe [which was edited in the story to seem more superhero like].

As the opening scene is going to be based around Luke and Holden Vallon terrorizing Pleasant Valley and its surrounding areas, we decided making a newspaper clipping for it might add on some "devastating" factors of it, showing that it quickly gains coverage as their act drains through hours [the bombings are continuous while they're on the run]. Painting style like this is going to be rare, mainly used on the TITLE CARDS. It consumes a lot of time [title cards tend to take 2-3 hours and this picture itself took almost 2 hours]. Otherwise the comic will be lined and flat colored, which was agreed upon.

We're actually loving the title card idea, and so we're going to keep them as final cards since they're already the same size as the pages will be. Here's another chapter.

I finished Carthage, Babylon, Rome, and Zanzibar's bookmarks today. They're all hyper-linked on the side under Wulfpac.

Today we basically took the first title card that was made and organized the chapter.

Meet Troy Paris

What it will consist of is Troy walking around with the thespians of the comic [Tyler, Grace, Isabella, and Cress] and talking all about the place he lives and its people. Such as all the gangs. He explains every single one of them similar to this when describing Wulfpac:

"I remember when they first formed. They were just a bunch of kids back in middle school that practically worshiped Ur. They used to chill with anyone, really. All you had to do to join their group was 'love weed and fighting,' but now, they've grown dark and are basically isolated."

Along with giving some history to each gang within the city as he escorts the actors to their crappy-quality apartments, he also gives a lot of his own opinion and how he feels on thing, thinking himself to be a wonderful critic. With him giving his own opinion, it will affect the reader and make their opinion blurred until the following few chapters where things are clarified from several different stand points.

Throughout the comic you'll be able to see the world through filters of characters in the world. Some of them narrow, due to not being part of a clique, and others massive amounts of information given due to knowing almost everyone in town.

We also discussed the supernatural portions we're putting in the comic, as example, the Gods. We want to sneak them in, make the readers not realize where they fit or when they're gonna come into play. We want them as hidden joker cards. What was discussed was once a character hits a certain level of power in what they do, they're turned around to see that they're basically a God's puppet at this point, and they can adjust the power until over throwing the corresponding God.

Spencer was specifically talked about. Hopefully, if we build his character properly, he'll be hated by every single reader. That's what we want. He's going to be this vile and disgusting human that no one is going to want alive because of how racist, sexist, classist, etc he is. His brother Vincent however is very respectful and calm, where as Spencer is violent and merciless. He's cruel and cold, so basically the brothers kind of detract from each other as beings.

The other fact tossed into the discussion was specific titles. Gods all have specific titles of what they rule upon, such as Spencer's mentor, Hyugo, the God of War. When a "corrupted human," such as Spencer becomes connected to a God, it is because that God has the same internal mind set as the human. For Spencer, once he starts to crack and you see him at his fullest and most natural state [the rude and blunt asshole spoken of previously] you realize he is vile, disgusting and violent which are all the characteristics of a war. He becomes obsessed with the idea and tries to start riots and actual full-on battles everywhere, which Hyugo notices and attaches to without notice.

So this ends up working with all of the [currently four] "corrupted humans." Riley ends up becoming obsessed with other peoples despair and torturing others that Dmirtri [God of Despair] steps in. Troy becomes so hyper and labeled as crazy that Zeferak comes around [God of Insanity]. Divine changes his name for identification to Divine due to his obsession with purifying and creating a whole new, and perfect, flawless new world that Sava [God of Creation] treats him as a saint.

As for the next few chapters, they'll focus on one group [gang, mafia, etc] and explain them through their own eyes about themselves rather than through a character that is already bias.

We might make TITLE CARDS for each chapter. With a bunch of easter eggs in them. Like this preliminary concept one.

/Riley

A lot of story construction [basically linking events in a "pretty" fashion] and some slight character development went on today, and the conversation is by far interesting as to where we're taking it now as compared to when the idea was originally pitched back in July. Development on Troy and how he's a shielded puppet master masked by his constant joy and comic-relief like dialogue and actions in the comic was established as him actually using some of his friends to get what he considers the best thing - power. Due to his own size, being set at 5', power is one thing he becomes very jealous and raged over, thus when he encounters Zeferak and obtains power for the first taste, he becomes addicted.

As a quick note, both through imagery and dialogue said by characters there are going to a handful of easter eggs placed strategically throughout each chapter, going to constantly pose readers questions and want to find answers.

The introductory scene is going to contain two characters being the focus point - the pair of brothers known as Luke and Holden Vallon - two "terrorists/bombers" that terrorize a city. The entire time it'll be similar to a live TV broadcast that follows the perpetrators throughout the city while their intelligence overcomes and they're able to avoid as many obstacles as they can by causing more and more damage to the city they're set in [which is still unknown]. But eventually  the brotherly bond is forced to stop as Holden tells Luke to run for it, and afterwards you don't see either character for a while, hopefully leaving the readers in confusion.
